We use rotational grazing across 15 grass pastures moving our Bison to a new field every 5 days. This gives the grass 75 days to regrow and for the manure to be broken up decomposing into natural fertilizer. It is not only better for the grass but healthier for the bison. When we open the gate to a new field the bison run and bounce around in excitement being in a fresh new grass field challenging their mind to a new environment.
