About us

Denny grew up in South Dakota with his Grandparents teaching him the love of the land, farming and raising livestock. After college he worked in the manufacturing industry as an Engineer but he always knew that being inside a building was not where he wanted to be. After moving to Florida he started training with  friends for running races and triathlons. Soon after his goals were set on the Ironman Triathlon which is a test of endurance. Denny quickly learned that nutrition played a key part of performance and recovery after the 4 to 8 hour daily trainings so he started searching out healthy grass fed meat. Remembering Bison(called Buffalo in South Dakota) he started looking for the quality meat in Florida.

An old saying is:

 You can take the boy off the farm but not the farm out of the boy.

One day while Denny was online searching he came across a floral plant farm for sale. Always wanting to be on a farm again he drove over to look at it. Once Denny drove down the driveway and seen all the 12 foot wood post used to support the plant structures and piles of these extra wood post laying around Denny knew right away that to build a Bison fence it would take a couple hundred of these and this place had them. After he purchased the farm and spent the next 2 years learning the plant business until  he knew the time was right to bring home the bison.
